The Problem
Managing a shared household often leads to confusion, inequality, or neglect of responsibilities. People struggle to keep track of who’s doing what, splitting costs fairly, or staying aligned with their cohabitants.
The Goal
To build an all-in-one platform that simplifies household management by helping users communicate responsibilities clearly, track progress, and manage shared financial and logistical duties effortlessly.
The Task
Making household responsibilities, information, and tasks easily accessible and manageable for every member of the household.

Common Strengths

-
Combines scheduling, calendar syncing, shared to-do lists, and shopping lists into a single platform.
-
Strong execution in specific areas, such as intuitive interfaces for financial transactions or comprehensive calendar views.

-
Solutions are too complex for casual use, focusing on family needs rather than roommates or young users.
-
Tools are either too basic (missing task/chore tracking) or too overwhelming and heavy with features.
Common Weaknesses
User Research
In order to get inspired, explore, and identify user opportunities, I conducted a qualitative study. 5 interviews were held with people aged 18–35 who live with others.
Interview Goals
-
Understand current scheduling habits.
-
Identify friction points in current tools.
-
Gather emotional responses to organizing.
-
Uncover motivation to use a new app.
"We have no structured way to track shared expenses as roommates; we usually just end up sending endless messages to each other whenever someone needs to get paid back."

"The biggest challenge in managing the household with my partner is sometimes it’s hard to keep track of chores and small expenses, especially when there are minor shopping runs."

"A smart way to handle money split is completely necessary for shared living. It would be incredibly useful when one of us pays for groceries or monthly bills."
